Gardeners
Will the gardeners pick up my trimmings and plants?
Gardeners will not retrieve trimmings or plants from your backyard.
If you perform any trimming of your front lawn area, leave the trimmings in the front of your house without plastic bags and the gardeners will pick it up on their next visit.
Can I ask the Gardeners to take care of specific things, especially when they're here?
No. The gardening crew is under contract with the Association, so any projects you would like done need to be referred to the Landscape Committee. Please do not interrupt the gardeners during their operations.
Can I trim or change my front-yard plants, grass, or trees?
It depends:
Trees? No. Front-yard trees are required by the City of Mill Creek and are registered on our local plot-map. If you would like them trimmed or have other concerns, please contact the Landscape Committee.
Grass? Yes. You can cut your grass, but the landscaping crew will also trim your grass as needed. If you feel the grass needs attention, please contact the Landscaping Committee.
Shrubs / Plants? Yes. You can trim, remove, or replace your shrubs and annual / perennial plants in the front yard, however, there may be restrictions on what kinds of plants you can replace the units with.
